I just applied to Serenity and wanted to introduce myself. I own a Constellation Aquila+325a and was hoping to do some serious exploration/trading with goal oriented people who can also enjoy themselves. It would seem like this is the right place. I like the thought of being part of something bigger – it creates both social and economic advantages.
I did a lot of research of the game and have like many of you, already had my fair share of hours played in alpha. Right now i’m just waiting impatiently for the ship updates and PU.
I am 26 years of age and have a full time job, however that does not mean I won’t be spending alot of time in the game. Which is why your somewhat hardcore and flexible approach seemed to fit my profile. I currently live in Denmark, so I hope that there’s at least some european player base.
I hope to catch y’all on the discord, I will check your channel out soon since I have some questions regarding the org. structure. if you have any further questions don’t hesitate to contact me.
Welcome on board Kenlee 😀 Hope you’ll enjoy your stay.
Sadly we’re all playing the waiting game. Playing other games and SC from time to time.
Welcome @kenlee. Det er dejligt at have endnu en dansker med i klan.😃
Er ikke så meget på for tiden men det vil være sjov og hav en gruppe dansker i Serenity, håber du vil have det sjovt her.
@agentgreen alright then 😀
Thanks @wokkels! The waiting game is terrible, but it gives me time to get acquainted ;o)
Welcome to Serenity my friend!
Thanks @Apollo :)!
Welcome 😀 Hope you’ll enjoy your stay
@kenlee, @Apollo didn’t work if you click anyone’s profile you’ll see his correct @handle http://serenitycorp.net/members/apollo6661046/
You can go to a profile by simply clicking a orange name anywhere on the site.
in Apollo’s case @apollo6661046 (Numbers ftw Apollo) 😀
@agentgreen and @apollo6661046 are actually the only two I know of who don’t use the same @handle as their display name on our site, but the info might be helpful for the future 🙂
Hi @taeja, thanks for the reply, I do know about hyperlinks but I didn’t know that some people chose to use a different handle as their display name, I just assumed everyone used their own name (seems logical) – apparantly not for the brother of Artemis :D.
I will definately enjoy my stay, hoping there will be some new content soon – can’t wait to get started in the PU. Ty for info!
PTU 2.4 looks like quite new content 😀 Fingers crossed for when that’s live.
Welcome Kenlee, I’m also here for the exploration and trading. Currently I only have a 300i (free upgrade from the Omega, and I keep forgetting to upgrade it to the 315p for $10) for the small scale Exploration) particularly for navigating jump points, but I also want a Freelancer DUR for the long range Exploration and planetary landings (can’t fit a rover in the 315p).
I look forward to exploring with you.
Thanks alot @redbeardedt – nice to see a fellow explorer ^^ Im sure both the 315p and the Dur will be able to do jobs that the Aquila cannot, it’s great to have some variety in the fleet!
I had the Freelancer Dur first and I still love the concept, to me it’s still a “Best bang for your buck” kind of ship. But I just could not stop myself from buying the Aquila – when I saw the commercial I had already dropped the wallet on the keyboard :D. I do think that the Dur is in that “sweet spot” when it comes to options regarding single/multiplayer. It’s easy soloable ship, but has room for 3 friends. So you can bring friends, but you don’t have to. I feel like in my Aquila I would always need at least 1 person to make the ship somewhat operational, unless I am doing cargo hauling in a safe zone. That’s why I bought a 325a which will be upgraded to a Vanguard as soon as possible. I am also a little curious about ship expenses, since the Aquila obviously will require more spacecash to run on a daily basis.
I imagine the 315p being great at going through wormholes (imagine doing this in an Aquila or a Carrack) – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lfpaOIRl7hM
Welcome @kenlee! We’ll get our Exploration on!
Thanks alot @outphased, looking much forward to it!
