This thing looks amazing!
Did you purchase one @heam ?
Wow, it looks so good. Glad i got the Starfarer Gemini with LTI for 176 euro before the normal Starfarer went up in price to 341 euro, i think that its quite a jump in price.
Damn @agentgreen that’s freaking cheap! Wish I had done that back then 😀
The early bird gets the worm @wokkels.:D
@wokkels I am 90% sure on upgrading my constellation Andromeda into a Starfare today.
@heam Oh cool! Those are two complete different ships though 😀 but seeing the size and options on the starfarer. Probably way better to earn money with.
You are correct @wokkels they are way different. The Andromeda is a jack of all trades master of none. No one is going to rob it, because for the small cargo space it has a lot of bite and slim profile. Compared to the Starfarer which has slightly less weapons, but is super slow and the size of a literal barn! Plus is carries and carries like 30 times as much cargo. The only saving grace may be that if it is all fuel the pirates might have no way of storing it to take it from you.
@darlandra brought up a great point in another thread about the size of ships and their ability to go through jump points. CIG has been vague about all that and probably is going to take a while before telling us more. Though this weeks Reverse the verse has some great information. The small MISC miner should be going on concept sale in the next month or so.
The only similarity is the $225 to $300. I did upgrade to it. The point of buying ships is to help CIG and get ahead start on day one. My goal for release is to have a fueler (check) a miner (affordable) a cargoship such as the hull C or larger (also affordable) and a capital-ship (my girlfriend will kill me for buying one) and let’s be honest. The only one I might be able to afford and still have those other ships is maybe the Idris-P. The Idris-M was $1200 during the concept sale.
I really want to start with UEC capped and the ships that will give me the logistical ability during the first days, to grab territory or build space stations or build a gas fucking station. What ever the rush happens to be for and to help the Organization do the same. I plan to have my friend who teaches English in Thailand and is very cheap. Use my fueler or miner while he is up and not working which is around when I am sleeping. He keeps 60% of the profit. So when I wake up I will have extra UEC to work with starting day 2.
…correct me if I’m wrong, but outside the missiles…isn’t the starfarer more heavily armed? It’s packing size 5 guns after all…and the gemini will DEFINITELY be better armed since it’ll have a launcher of its own.

I picked up the starfarer its just awesome looking. I wish i would have picked it up when it was cheaper though but at least the money is helping CIG. I now have Carrack and Starfarer I need to pick up a good fighter next what would y’all recommend?
Super hornet or sabre.
Super hornet has a perfect setup for gimbal weapons and the sabre is perfect for fixed weapons.
Fighters wise they are the ones I can kill people quick with. The others either get me killed quickly or I can’t hit them enough.
I highly recommend trying out some ships in arena Commander using some rec.
Ok Sounds good I will tey some ships. I have a few hundred rec I haven’t used yet.
